Very well equipped apartment near the Bairro Alto, in the old centre of Lisbon. Easy access Elevator da Bica, wheezing and Downtown by metro, bus or tram. The famous 28 tram passes through this same street, making it very easy to switch to the other hills of Lisbon, Alfama and Castle included. CAIS do Sodré and Ribeira Market are a 10-minute walk from the apartment, so it is very easy to get on the train to Cascais and its beaches, in 50 minutes.
The Poiais of São Bento Street turn on the Sidewalk of the São Bento Combro, where stood the ancient convent of St. Benedict. Today, is the Portuguese Parliament and is a very imposing building. The Tram 28 runs through and stops on this street.
Supermarkets are also nearby, with the Walmart on the sidewalk of Combro, and another on the streets of São Paulo. Supermarkets are open until late at night, close to bairro alto. And, although it is very well located, since that is a 4th floor, is very good to get some rest and the end of a tiring day. Please keep in mind that there is no elevator.
The balcony as a very nice view on the sidewalk on the buildings, Bairro Alto and wide Combro Camões also. From the bedroom window you can see the Tagus River and the typical Portuguese roofs as well. The buildings around are old, but colorful and full of life neighborhoody, providing beautiful sense of visual chaos.
The apartment has a triple sofa in the living room, as well as a couple of chairs and a dining table, provinding this clean look, comfortable and fashionable. The room like a large bed, and the kitchen is fully equipped.
